Panich, T.V. To the history of the teat of the book “Screen of Faith” (“Shchit Very”).

 

The paper is devoted to investigation of a little known manuscript collection (¹ 452) from the Synodal collected works kept in the State Museum of History. The textological study of this collection and its comparison with records of known but insufficiently explored book of the end of the XVIIth century – “Screen of Faith” (“Shchit Very”) allows the author to conclude that the materials of the manuscript collection (¹ 452) had been assumed, later on, as a basis for one of the most interesting literary monuments reflected the ideological conflict of too groups of Russian writers of that time, with their own vision of the way of the cultural and historical development of Russia

 

 

Gur’yanova, N.S. The eschatological doctrine of Old-Believers and chiliasmus.

 

The study of chiliastic conceptions , as a part of the eschatological doctrine of Old-Believers, is an actual research problem not only for historical science but also for closely-related to it scientific disciplines. the doctrine of the final fates of the World and Man is connected directly not only with religious and theological conceptions but is may bear a relation to the social an public ones too. And in this paper, there is just a question of that.

The work of Ivan Ipatov is analysed here. In it, in the metaphorical and artistic form, the democratic appraisal of the existing social system is given an the ways of going out into “the ideal world”, which is not only opposed to the real world of “antichrist” but also opens the ways of going out of such a world, are laid down. And this is done due to the eschatological conceptions, with paying a special attention to chiliastic ideas.

The authors of this paper elucidates the people’s social and public position conveyed in the religious form, which is so habitual for authors – Old-Believers.

 

 

Pokrovskiy, N.N. “An epistle of V.V. to B.I.” 1731/1732 – the firs polemical treatise of the Uralo-Siberian Old-Believers-Sofontians.

 

The paper introduces into scientific turn earlier unknown literary monument of the dogmatic polemics within one of the most significant trends of the Uralo-Siberian Old Belief. The author of “the Epistle” sets out the system of arguments in defence of the practice of recognition of priests as “the veritable ones”, only if they went over into the Old Belief from eparchies of the Russian Orthodox church. The Sofontians considered some of these arguments to be the true ones, during the posterior hundred of years, while the other arguments where rejected after forty years had elapsed.

 

 

Zol’nikova, N.D. “Desert in the world”: asceticism in the mode of life of Old-Believers of chapels in the XXth century.

 

In the paper, the moral and ethical norms and their realization in the mode of life an behaviour of that part of Old-Believers, which was not cloistered but whose mode of life in certain extent was similar to the one of those who lived in cloisters, are analysed. In historiography, conformably to Old-Believers, of the XXth century, such problem has been raised, for the firs time, and solved basing on the interesting literary materials of the original works of the current century devoted to Old-Believers and collected by archeographical expeditions of the Institute of History of the Siberian Division of the Russian academy of Sciences.

The author accentuates the vitality the morals and manners, Christian ideals, which where typical of the medieval Russia and the whole medieval Christianity. She also analyses some examples of modification of these at peasants of the XXth century.

 

 

Sagaidachnyy, A.N. The structure and numerical strength of urban family of Turinsk and Yalutorovsk (the Tobosk Province) in the end of the XIXth century.

 

Publications devoted to the study of different aspects of urban family of the second half of the XIXth – beginning of the XXth century are very few, and those with urban family taking as a object of special investigation are practically absent.

The author has carried out his investigation on the materials of the first general census of the population of the 1897 year.

Application of modern computer’s technologies allowed him to get information on every family of two Western Siberian towns (Turinsk and Yalutorovsk) and to examine the whole complex of demographical aspects of urban family: its structure ,numerical strength, types of families, with taking into account the class and economics indications. Each of the examined towns had about 3000 of townspeople.

 

 

Siotani, M. Russia at the commodity market of cotton fabrics of Asia, in the first half of the XIX century.

 

The author deals with important aspects of the history of beginnings and development of the cotton branch in the light industry of  Russia. He carries out a detailed analysis of geography of Russian cotton export and gives his appraisal of competition at the export commodity market. His first attempt to systematize the statistical data on the Russian cotton export in the middle Asia. China Persia and Turkey allows to retrace the dynamics of development of native cotton branch in direct association with inner-Russian socio-economical processes. The author concludes that the Russian cotton industry was formed, mostly, as an export branch and due to such practice, it look highly firm status at the Asia international commodity market.

 

 

Nikolaev, A.A. Co-operative movement in the Russia of the 10s-20s of the XXth century: modern historiographical situation and debatable problems.

 

In the paper, the modern native literature devoted to the history of co-operative movement of the beginning in Russia is analysed. In the co-operative movement of the beginning of the XXth century, two levels are recognized: collective farms and new co-operative association of workmen or peasants. The one had been taken as a principle in the Bolshevist co-operative conception. The theoretical significance of works investigators of the 20sis highly appreciated. The position of the authors who the considers the beginning of co-operative movement in the Russia to be bound up with the Decembrist’s artels in Siberia is criticized.

 

 

Pavlova, I.V. V.D.Vegman. Traits to his portrait.

 

In the paper, some unknown pages of the V.D.Vegman’s activities in Siberia of the 20s-30s of the current century are examined. The latter was deputed by the Party and State bodies of the territory to exercise culture control. The author  retraces his evolution from a revolutionary – Bolshevik to a representative of nomenclature in the Stalin’s power system, who had fallen a victim to the Great terror. She pays attention to some essential socio-psychological peculiarities and traits typical of him, on the one hand, as a personality with rather wide range of interests and abilities, and, on the other hand, as in many respects, a typical representative of the “old Lenin’s guard” who made his contribution in formation of the Stalin’s model of society.

 

 

Krasil’nikov S.A. Mass and local deportations of peasantry of Western Siberia, in the first half of the 1930s.

 

The author makes an attempt to analyse the concrete mechanism of realization of the repressive policy of the State at a regional level. He examines complicated bureaucratic interests and interests and directives, urgent requests of clearness and co-ordination in carrying on the repressive campaigns on a regional scale.

 

 

Isaev, V.I. Regulation of everyday life of town-dwellers of Siberia in the end of the 1920s-1930s.

 

In the paper, some aspects of the problem of formations of the towns-dwellers, of Siberia modern of life, in the years of the first five-year periods, are examined. It is noted that at this time, several important processes where going on: reorganization of the society, industrialization of the economic basis, urbanization, cultural revolution. The author reveal some peculiarities transformation of the elements of traditionally agrarian society in the process of speeded up industrialization of Siberia. The tendencies of formation of totalitarian are retraced by him, in particular, in toughening of regulation of everyday life of town-dwellers, on the part of the State.

 

 

Bukin, S.S., and A.A.Dolgol’uk. Formation of prisoner-of-war and internment camps in Siberia (1943-1949).

 

The paper has prepared in the frame work of the scientific orientation, which is new in the Russian historiography. On the base of documents that were earlier the confidential ones, for the first time, creation in Siberia of the net-work of camps of former servicemen of the German, Japanese and other armies, as well as for interned civilian persons, comes to light. The overall strength of the prisoners of war and the interned civilians has been count up for the first time. Their national composition, age, education are characterized too.

 

 

Karpunina, I.B., and A.P. Melentyeva. Rural family of Western Siberia in 1960s-1980s; change of numerical strength of families and economic potentialities.

 

In the paper, the socio-economic aspect of the problem of development of peasant family and farmstead at the final stage of the State policy to peasantry treated. The authors try to retrace dependence of the economic potentialities of private farmstead of Western Siberia of the 60s-80sof the current century on the change of numerical strength of their families, as well as on the State policy regarding them. The sharp-reduction in number and dimensions of house farms, for 30 years, is shown. Such reduction, on a level with some other factors, had caused harrowing of the sphere of application of peasants labour in the private economy. Orientation of the State policy was the same one-regulation of the functioning of subsidiary small-holding.
