- IPL SB RAS has a leading role in Russia in the large-scale special sociological research of the interconnection between ethno-social and civilizational processes in Inner Eurasia (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Mongolia). The obtained results allow making a relevant description of the socio-cultural reality in the region; they have enriched the concept of Eurasianism, and they received a high appraisal both from the scientific community and from the regional authorities, being recognized as strategically important determinants of the Eurasian integration.
- IPL SB RAS has developed a unique systematic analysis of epistemology based on Aristotle’s Posterior Analytics. This analysis covers all of the stages of the scientific inquiry in Aristotle, and the argumentative strategies in ethical theories. It reconstructs Aristotle’s justification of the ultimate value of virtuous activity (foundationalist strategy) and of the necessity of the external goods for this activity (hermeneutic strategy). The results are published in two monographs.
