Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of autopoiesis and its role in modern theatre where the main figure is not actor but theatrical director. The modern theatrical performance includes the sings are conditioned by autopoiesis such as maximum externalization of the theatrical space, maximum internalization of the main point of performance, renunciation of the literally significance of word, submission the dramatic text to the specific of the performance.
