Abstract. The anthropological manifesto of S.A. Smirnov as a research program, implemented by him in the form of a nonclassical project of philosophical anthropology. Man"s being is depicted by the author as an orientation in the way, a kind of anthropological navigation, where the ultimate goal is unknown, and the landmarks are chosen along the way. Anthropological navigator is a kind of mechanism built into the human life world and represents a self-adjusting system of orientation in the space of events that are organized according to the available cultural resources (autopoiesis).
Reflexive analysis of the author"s research position suggests, in addition to revealing its "internal" contradictions, the detection of co-factors, including. and misunderstandings of readers and colleagues, their reluctance to overcome their own ontological limits and epistemological barriers, as manifested in the course of this article.
Keywords: being, man, life world, autopoiesis, nonclassical anthropology, anthropological navigator.
