Abstract. Narratives play key role in the formation of memory, which means self-awareness and self, expressing a person’s attitude to the world, other people, to himself. Written narration plays a special role, because it appears as an artifact and a document. This work focuses on the characterization of “life stories”. It is a autobiographical storytelling that is instructive and entertaining for others. In this specific genre, personal tradition is realized, in other words, the scripting of an individual semantic picture of the world.
Keywords: life stories, narration, memory, scripting, storytelling.
