Abstract. The author addresses a topic of appropriateness of organizational-activity game (OAG) in higher education. Functions and purpose of a game, structure of a game (as a whole) and OAG (in particular) in terms of conflict composition, as well as age features of "serious" games are discussed. The article substantiates possibility of using a game as a productive conflict composition that can provide its participants with means and tools for development. An OAG in education is described as special environment where a student can make a probe of taking and holding a special position concerning a game topic, which makes ground to take a position concerning professional activities in future.
